Adult: PO Per tab contains glipizide 2.5 mg and metformin 250 mg. As initial therapy: Start w/ 1 tab once regularly. May increment slowly to lowest effective dose to a max of 4 tablets per day in segmented doses. For patients previously treated with glibenclamide/sulphonylurea or metformin alone: Advisable initial dose: 2 tablets twice daily; starting dose should not exceed the daily doses of glipizide or metformin already taken. Titrate succeeding doses supported on serum glucose levels and tolerant's activity. Daily max: 20 mg glipizide/2000 mg metformin. This medicine should be condemned with food.
